Features

The ARD automatically detects a power outage and activates its backup system, typically a rechargeable battery, which powers the elevator. Upon detection of power loss, the ARD moves the elevator car to the nearest safe floor and opens the doors to allow passengers to exit. Overview

An overload system for elevators is a safety feature designed to prevent the elevator from operating when the weight limit is exceeded.
